You will note that many endoscopy procedures have been added in recent years to several systems in CPT( eg, digestive system, female genital system, musculoskeletal system, respiratory system). There are also codes for procedures for scope-assisted procedures (eg, 29889, Arthroscopically aided posterior cruciate ligament repair/augmentation or reconstruction).
