AMA Comment A series of photos are taken, as necessary, at one session to document the patient's progress. Therefore, from a CPT perspective, code 92285, External ocular photography with interpretation and report for documentation of medical progress (eg, close-up photography, slit-lamp photography, goniophoto-graphy, stereophotograph), should be reported once for the series of photos necessary at one session for documentation of medical progress.
