AMA Comment Computed tomographic angiography (CTA) is a non-invasive technique for imaging vessels. The information obtained from the CTA is used in the evaluation of vascular anatomy (eg, renal or liver transplant donors, congenital anomalies), vascular disorders (eg, aortic or intracranial aneurysms, renal artery or carotid stenosis), and vascular trauma (eg, aortic laceration) and in the follow-up of organ transplantation.
